The steps of the application process are as follows:
STEP 1: Submit an online application using the “Apply Now” page.
Select the IEnMP certification by reviewing the qualification criteria to determine which certification is right for you:
- CP EnMS Industrial
- ISO 50001 Lead Lead Auditor
Upon submitting the application form, you will receive an email with a link for paying the one time application fee of $75.00. Candidates qualifying for the SEP Lead Auditor or SEP Performance Verifier certifications may contact IEnMP to coordinate taking the examination and are not subject to the application fee of $75.00.
STEP 2: Pay the Application fee.
This step starts the application review process. Upon receipt of the application fee you will receive an application packet including the following information and documents:
- Candidate Identification Number;
- Candidate handbook;
- Education and experience form;
- Experience verification form;
- Academic transcript request form
STEP 3: Complete and submit application forms.
The completed application forms will be sent to the Application Review Sub Committee for their review and recommendation. Upon approval of your application an exam appointment will be scheduled.
STEP 4: Submit an Exam Registration with payment.
A list of exam locations will be provided to you along with a request for your preferred exam dates.
STEP 5: Once certified, maintain your certification.
Complete the specific recertification requirements outlined on the individual recertification pages and submit one Professional Development report for the recertification period. You will be invoiced for the annual fee for each awarded certification, based on the certification award date. Applicable discounts apply based on the number of certifications awarded.
