ABOUT IEnMP


IEnMP

The Institute for Energy Management Professionals (IEnMP) is a non-profit organization, established at the Georgia Institute of Technology, providing personnel certification services in support of the Superior Energy Performance™ initiative and other energy management system-related activities.

IEnMP receives support from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Advanced Manufacturing Office, and guidance from the U.S. Council for Energy-Efficiency Manufacturing (U.S. CEEM). Certifications offered by IEnMP include:

  • Certified Practitioner in Energy Management Systems (CP EnMS) – Industrial Sector
  • SEP Performance Verifier – Industrial Sector
  • SEP Lead Auditor – not sector specific
  • Energy Professionals International (EPI) ISO 50001 Lead Auditor – buildings, building complexes, and industry – light to medium

IEnMP has received the ANSI/ISO/IEC 17024 accreditation for the CP EnMS, SEP Lead Auditor and SEP Performance Verifier certifications. Currently IEnMP is pursuing ANSI 17024 accreditation for the EPI ISO 50001 Lead Auditor certification.
